I haven't updated in over a month. But I've always been bad at updating things like journals and blogs and such.
I got the new Every Avenue album Picture Perfect! It's absolutely fantastic. My favorite tracks are Mindset and Saying Goodbye. I really wish I could go see them in concert.
Niespo's been working us hard. We've had two projects in the last three weeks. We have a major test on Friday. And apparently we started another project today, too. I don't know. I stayed home today in protest. Most school systems get Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, and President's Day off. We don't. But my dad thought it would be nice since he fought in the Vietnam war.
I'm bored to death in Health Careers and French. They're total cake classes. On the other hand, Precalc and AP US are killers. I hate that kind of stuff.
I think I'm going to drop PRIB at the end of the semester. If I can without Withdraw Failing, I will. Apparently I'm "not a photog" since I haven't attended the meetings. But we haven't had the money for gas for me to go take photos. And I'm not too keen on sports photos anyway. And I'm not writing this issue, so I'm just running stuff.
I've been riding every Thursday at the barn. It makes me so happy.
Friday I'm having a sleepover with my friend. She's having boy troubles, so I thought it would make her feel better. Then this weekend my grandparents are coming. I think they're staying until Thursday. Then they're going up to Chicago for Thanksgiving.
My laptop crashed this weekend. So I lost my bookmarks and iTunes and my settings and everything. Why don't iPods sync back to iTunes?

 • Listening to: every avenue.
 • Reading: paper towns.

I'm having a very busy couple of weeks. Tomorrow is an extra credit movie for Lindsey. I'm excited, since the last one was totally awesome. We watched The Village, which I absolutely adored. I love how Lindsey points out things about the plot, like foreshadowing and such, and he also points out the cinematography. Too bad he won't tell us what the movie is.
Friday is my first riding lesson. I'm so happy that I get to start riding again. It's at Brush Creek Stables. So excited! The Ethnic Expo is also on Friday. It's quite lame, really [egg rolls are served at all booths, and they're all run by hispanics *eyeroll*] but I guess that's Columbus. Anyway, I'm hoping that they having claddagh rings at the Irish booth. I want one.
Saturday night my parents, my friend, and I are going to a bonfire. It'll be so much fun! Sunday we're going to get Halloween decorations and pumpkins.
Wednesday is the PSAT. I get to miss periods 1-4. Whoo. I wish I could miss French. Ugh, that class is the ultimate in boring.
We have next Thursday and Friday off for Fall Break. On Thursday my parents and I are going into Indy so I can take photos, and we're going to the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Friday I'm leaving for a camping trip with my friend until Sunday. It's going to be a ton of fun! We're so alike it's creepy.
Busybusybusy bee.
We're reading Poe in AP Lit since he was part of the Romanticism movement. I love Poe's work. I need to read more of it.
Tomorrow is our first dissection in Zoology! It's of either roundworms or flatworms. Not sure which. Anyway, I'm hoping it goes well.

Who's psyched for Where the Wild Things Are? I am! <33

I decided not to do the t h r e e s i x f i v e project. I have enough of a hard time finding subjects, and I think that cluttering up my gallery with random photos of books or shoes all the time just makes my gallery look bad. That, and junior year is somewhat hectic...
It's almost October! It's one of my favorite months. I love watching all the scary movies and such. Especially Goosebumps and The Nightmare Before Christmas. It starts to get colder, and rainier, which is my favorite kind of weather. =] And of course, Halloween. I think I'm going to be the Mad Hatter this year. My friend is going to be Coraline. =] I also love Día de los Muertos. I'm convincing my mom to celebrate it this year. And I eventually want to go to Mexico to celebrate it.
The past few days it's been dark, overcast, rainy, and foggy. I love it. ♥

 • Reading: the scarlet letter.
 • Watching: a night in terror tower.
 • Eating: mexican wedding cakes.

I finally took photos! It's been ages since I did. So I'm officially re-starting the t h r e e s i x f i v e project now.

I can't wait for autumn to arrive. It's my favourite season. I just love wearing coats, red and gold leaves falling, and chilly, windy days.

My dad's birthday is on Monday. My mom and I are celebrating it tomorrow because I'll be at school on Monday. We're going to have strawberry crepes for breakfast, ribs for dinner, and a special Mexican cake. I forget the name of it at the moment. And then my mom's birthday is on Wednesday. And my half-birthday was yesterday. Just a bunch of birthdays, huh?

I'm trying to decide whether I want to go to vet school or art school. I love horses but it's just such an enormous commitment to schooling. And I love art but I'm definitely not a pro. What should I do?

I've been listening to Love Drunk a bajillion times since it came out. I love it. =] Boys Like Girls is my most favorite band EVAR. You should listen to it. Do it. You know you want to.

It figures I wouldn't be able to continue the t h r e e s i x f i v e project after starting it. >.<
Last week I had a number of hard tests to study for, projects to do, etc. This weekend I spent two days colouring my hair. I put Herbal Essences Paint the Town Red in my hair. I definitely don't recommend it. Ever. I looked like Ronald McDonald. No joke, my hair was candy-apple-red. So my mom attempted to put blonde in to make it better. Wrong move. It was worse. So she got this colour-stripper [I think it's called Color Oops or something] which made it a lot better. It was just super-light strawberry blonde. So then she coaxed me into putting in a copper color she picked out. Big mistake. My hair is red and looks fine, it's just not the color I wanted. So I'll deal with it for now. Because I have a bigger problem:
I have swimmer's ear again. In my right ear this time. It's so painful and it SUCKS. Part of the problem is all the showers I took this weekend. That was a bad idea because I had a small bit of pain/swelling already.
This weekend was just a crappy weekend. I also couldn't find Coraline at the video store and my photo outing was ruined because it started raining.
Therefore, I haven't taken pictures since my last deviation. I'll try to take pictures ASAP, but I still have school and homework and I'm kind of behind on my art project.
On the bright side...

Boys Like Girls' new album Love Drunk is out tomorrow! I'm so excited! =D
I can't wait for cold weather.

 • Mood: Pain
 • Reading: darkwoods
 • Watching: castle
